Greetings, everyone! Let me introduce you to Scott Hanley-Ginger, our dedicated and dynamic Project Manager who has been a part of Ellutia for six months. Scott’s role is all about managing new development projects, whether it’s introducing brand-new products or refreshing our current offerings. He also plays a crucial part in day-to-day production, ensuring that the team stays focused and meets deadlines to deliver quality products on time.
Scott loves being part of a talented team and building relationships along the way. He thrives on challenging deadlines and finds great satisfaction in hitting targets and pushing the company forward. His journey in the industry is impressive, starting from an assistant technician at British Standards to managing a laboratory, and eventually overseeing large-scale Capital Expenditure Investment Projects.
Originally from Hertfordshire, Scott’s career and life journey have taken him across Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, and Buckinghamshire. He’s had some unique experiences, from having a football trial for England schoolboys to competing in the UK National Bodybuilding Championships and even sharing a lift with Desmond Tutu.
Scott is a proud family man, married to his wife Kate, whom he describes as his soulmate and best friend. Together, they have a wonderful daughter, Harper, and two adorable Scottish Fold cats named Mitsi and Tilly. Outside of work, Scott enjoys spending time with his family, especially visiting the seaside. He has a passion for sports cars, motor racing, and football, being a lifelong Chelsea supporter, with fond memories of training with the first team in the early 90s.
To unwind, Scott enjoys a nice family meal, a good bottle of Shiraz, and catching up on football or motor racing when the house is quiet. He lives by the motto, “Always treat people how you would want to be treated.” If he weren’t managing projects, you might find him as a professional wine and cheese taster. His dream dinner guest would be David Attenborough, admired for his passion and knowledge of the natural world. Scott’s ideal travel destination is Cape Town, South Africa, and if he could have any superpower, it would be the power of flight—so he’d never have to sit in traffic again.
