Greetings, everyone! Let me introduce you to Scott Hazel, our enthusiastic and skilled Mechanical Design Engineer who recently joined Ellutia. Scott’s journey with us involves crafting technical solutions to meet customer needs, enhancing our product line, and providing essential support for legacy products. His work includes designing, building, and testing as part of the NPI initiatives, making him a key figure in bringing innovative ideas to life.
Scott thrives on the constant opportunity to learn, and his expertise has already contributed to several multi-million-dollar projects. He plays a pivotal role in our engineering team, driving forward the success of global product lines. Although much of his job involves paperwork, Scott finds satisfaction in the tangible results of his hard work.
Originally from the scenic landscapes of Northumberland, Scott now calls Yaxley home. A fun fact about Scott—he’s got a flair for making pornstar martinis, a skill honed during his bar work days. Outside of the office, Scott enjoys DIY projects, gaming, and spending quality time with his partner Jade and their cat, Frankie.
After a busy day, you can find Scott unwinding on the sofa with some Turkish food, embracing his love for relaxation. If he wasn’t engineering, Scott would likely be exploring mining excavation—a testament to his interest in complex, hands-on work. His dream dinner guest is Brian Cox, admired for his optimism and knowledge, and his favorite getaway is the vibrant city of Berlin. If given a superpower, Scott would choose super intellect, believing it would enable him to invent anything else he needed.
